Paul Avgerinos, born Paul Costa Avgerinos on November 21, 1957 in Norwalk,
Connecticut, is an American composer known for his work in electronic and New
Age music. His work often combined acoustic and electronic instruments,
incorporating romantic and impressionistic techniques. He graduated from the
Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in 1981 and initially served as
Principal Bass in the Hong Kong Philharmonic. Notable albums include Island
