Patrick Street
Patrick Street was an Irish folk group founded in 1986 by Kevin Burke on fiddle,
Andy Irvine on mandolin and vocals, Jackie Daly on button accordion, and Arty
McGlynn on guitar. Their formation followed a successful tour by Irvine, Burke,
and Mícheál Ó Domhnaill in the USA. Their debut album, Patrick Street (1986),
was followed by a lineup evolution over the years with notable members including
Ged Foley, Bill Whelan, Declan Masterson, James Kelly, Brendan Hearty, John
