Pat Kearns
Pat Kearns, born November 10, 1970, in Portland, Oregon, is an American record
producer, engineer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist. After working as a DJ
at KCMU in Seattle, he became a recording engineer in 1995, opened Studio 13 in
1997, and established PermaPress Studio in 2007. In 2000, Kearns formed the band
Blue Skies for Black Hearts, releasing six studio albums, including Embracing
the Modern Age (2011). He produced and engineered Guitar Romantic (2003) for The
Exploding Hearts, which sold 30,000 copies and ranked number 60 on Pitchfork's
top 200 albums of the 2000s. ...
