Fātemeh Vā'ezi, known professionally as Parisa, was born on March 16, 1950, in
Tonekabon, Iran. She is a Persian classical singer and Avaz master, specializing
in traditional Iranian music. After completing high school with a focus on
Persian literature, Parisa began her musical training under Mahmoud Karimi at
the National Music Academy.
Parisa's career flourished with collaborations including the Dastan Ensemble,
Dariush Tala'i, and Hossein Omoumi. She performed extensively in Iran and
