Paco Bandeira
Francisco Veredas Bandeiras, known professionally as Paco Bandeira, was born on
May 2, 1945, in Elvas, Portugal. He began his music career in Spain, where he
adopted his stage name. In 1971, he released the EP Vem, Vem, Vem / Ceifeira
Bonita. Paco Bandeira gained significant recognition after participating in the
Festival RTP da Canção in 1972 with "Vamos Cantar De Pé" and in 1973 with "É por
isso que eu vivo", co-written with Ary dos Santos. He represented Portugal at
the OTI Festival in 1973 with "Poema De Mim". Throughout his career, Paco
