P.Y.T.
P.Y.T. was an American girl group from Florida, formed in 1998 by four Tampa
teenagers—Ashley Niven, Lauren Mayhew, Lydia Bell, and Tracy Williams—who had
previously performed together at Busch Gardens. The group signed with Epic
Records in 1999 after recording a demo that caught the attention of Dave
McPherson. Their first single, "Something More Beautiful", was released in 1999,
followed by "PYT (Down With Me)" in 2000. P.Y.T. toured extensively with
