Ovidiu Cernăuțeanu, known professionally as Ovi, was born on August 23, 1974, in Botoșani, Romania. He is a singer who gained early recognition by winning the Romanian singing competition Florile Dragostei at the age of 14. In his teens and early twenties, Cernăuțeanu performed with various bands, including collaborations with his father and former music teacher.
