Ours was an American rock band from New Jersey, formed in 1992 and led by Jimmy
Gnecco. The group underwent several lineup changes early on, with Gnecco feeling
it important for creative freedom. In 1994, Ours released their debut album Sour
under Beatnik Records before disbanding briefly. They reformed in 1997 and
signed with DreamWorks Records, releasing Distorted Lullabies in 2001. Produced
by Steve Lillywhite, the album featured "Sometimes", which reached number 31 on
