Östen Warnerbring, born on November 22, 1934, in Malmöhus County, Sweden, was a
Swedish singer, composer, and lyricist. He began his musical journey as a jazz
musician but later gained prominence in various genres, including pop and
schlager music. His breakthrough came in 1965 when he sang "En röd blomma till
en blond flicka", a Swedish version of Red Roses for a Blue Lady. Warnerbring
participated several times in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish qualifying
competition for the Eurovision Song Contest, notably winning in 1967 with "Som
