and composer known for his contributions to bossa nova and jazz. His career
began with collaborations that showcased his talents as both a composer and
performer. Milito's work spanned decades, including collaborations with
prominent Brazilian artists like Vinícius de Morais, Gilberto Gil, and Elis
Regina, as well as international stars such as Sarah Vaughan, Tony Bennett, and
Sammy Davis Jr. He passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 83 in Rio de
Janeiro.
