Orlando González Soto, known professionally as Orlando Contreras, born May 22,
1930, in Palma Soriano, Cuba, was a Cuban bolero singer. He started his career
singing with various musical groups in Havana, including the Arty Valdés trio,
and performed in the Neno González Orchestra from 1952 to 1956. In 1961, he
recorded more songs that placed him among the better-known singers, including
his hit song "Mi corazonada". He worked alongside notable figures such as Beny
