The Orchestra at Temple Square, a 110-member ensemble based in Salt Lake City,
Utah, was founded in 1999 under Gordon B. Hinckley, then president of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The orchestra aimed to enhance
performances by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and involve instrumental
musicians on a volunteer basis. Initially directed by Barlow Bradford, the
