One True Thing was an American pop rock band formed in 1994 in the United
States. Originally known as Scarab, the group consisted of Melanie Wills, Milan
Millevoy, Mike Pilato, and Ray Greene. The ensemble achieved recognition when
the singer Wills provided vocals for the From Autumn to Ashes tracks “Short
Stories with Tragic Endings” (2001) and “Autumn’s Monologue” (2003). Their debut
album, Finally... (2002), was reissued in 2004 through Play the Assassin
Records. The band became inactive in 2007.
