Taking a cue from Southern rap artists like Kevin Gates, Soulja Slim, and Masta
P, American rapper OMB Peezy manages to seamlessly combine his penchant for
crafting gritty urban tales with a modern trap aesthetic. Born LeParis Dade in
1997 in Mobile, Alabama but raised in Sacramento, California, he made a splash
in the Southern hip-hop scene with his 2016 debut single "Lay Down," which found
