Olga Borisovna Kormukhina, born on June 1, 1960, in Gorky, RSFSR, is a Russian
singer. She debuted at the 1980 Nizhny Novgorod Spring Universe Jazz Rock
Festival, winning best solo vocal performance. Recognized by jazz conductor Oleg
Lundstrem, she moved to Moscow and studied at the Gnessin State Musical College.
In 1987, Kormukhina joined Rock Atelier, fronted by Kris Kelmi, and later became
a vocalist for Krasnaya Pantera. She embarked on a solo career in 1989,
releasing her first album Beyond the Edge of Words in 1991 and winning the
