Okan
Okan is a Canadian Afro-Cuban jazz group, consisting of core members Elizabeth
Rodriguez and Magdelys Savigne. Both musicians are Cuban Canadians who
previously performed with Jane Bunnett's band Maqueque before forming Okan.
Their initial release was the extended play Laberinto in 2018, followed by their
debut album Sombras in 2019. The group gained significant recognition with their
second album, Espiral, released in 2020, which won the Juno Award for World
