Octahvia
Octavia C. Lambertis, known professionally as Octahvia, is an American singer
from New York City. She gained initial recognition for her performance in the
off-Broadway musical Mama, I Want to Sing! and was discovered by Kenny Beck, who
invited her to record "2 The Limit" (originally titled "It's Over Now").
Released under the name Octavia on Pow Wow Records in 1986, the song became a
minor hit on the R&B chart. Lambertis later achieved Number One hits on the
Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart as part of S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M. with "It's
