Num Skull was a US thrash and death metal band formed in Winthrop Harbor,
Illinois, in 1985. Their early years saw the release of demos such as Num's the
Word (1986) and Thrash to the Bone (1988), which garnered attention from Enigma
Records. This led to their debut album Ritually Abused, released in 1988 under
the same label. The band experienced management issues, resulting in a
separation from their label, but they continued to produce demos and split
albums. In 1995, Num Skull collaborated with Rage Records for a split single
with Sea of Tranquillity. Their final album, When ...
