Nuala Kennedy
Nuala Kennedy, born on January 30, 1977 in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, is a
singer and multi-instrumentalist. She began her musical journey playing piano
and flute in local ceili bands and studied classical piano at the Royal Irish
Academy of Music. In 2000, Kennedy moved to Edinburgh where she played regularly
at sessions throughout the city. Her breakthrough came when she formed Fine
Friday with Kris Drever and Anna-Wendy Stevenson, releasing two albums before
