NTS was formed in 1993 in Karlsruhe, Germany, as a way for its members to
celebrate their school graduation. The band was known for their multilingual
lyrics, with songs being sung in German, English, and French. They released
their first album, 100 Hours a Day, in 1999. In 2001, their single "Ich Und Du"
reached number 55 on the German singles chart, while its accompanying music
video reached number 3 on MTV’s web charts. In 2002, NTS released Hey Lovely
