Nova y Jory emerged as a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo in 2003 after meeting during
a local talent show. Their early collaboration produced the mixtape Por Encima
and the single "Bien Loco" in 2009, which gained traction across Central and
South America and led to a tour in Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, and Chile. In
2011, the duo released their sole studio album Mucha Calidad on 12 July,
featuring tracks such as "Besame" and "No Se", and signed with Loud Music
