Norihiko Hibino (日比野 則彦; born September 3, 1973 in Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese
composer and saxophonist. He graduated from Osaka University School of Human
Sciences in 1996 and from Berklee College of Music in 1997. After moving to
Kansas City to start a career as a solo jazz musician, Hibino returned to Japan
to work for Konami, where he became known for his work on the Metal Gear Solid
and Zone of the Enders series. In 2005, Hibino founded GEM Impact, a studio
including composers Takahiro Izutani, Yoshitaka Suzuki, and Takahide Ayuzawa.
