I Nomadi, an Italian pop rock band, was formed in 1963 between Reggio Emilia and
Modena by keyboardist Beppe Carletti and singer Augusto Daolio. The group
debuted in 1966 with the single “Come potete giudicar”, a cover of Sonny Bono's
“The Revolution Kind”. They gained significant attention in 1967 with Francesco
Guccini's song “Dio è morto” which was broadcast by Radio Vatican despite being
boycotted by state radio. I Nomadi participated in the Sanremo Festival for the
