Noah Thompson, born on April 18, 2002 in Huntington, West Virginia, is an
American singer. Before competing on American Idol, he worked as a construction
worker and posted his original songs such as "Not a Phase", "Pedestal" and
"Heart Painted Black" online. His breakthrough came when he won the twentieth
season of American Idol on May 22, 2022. Following his victory, Thompson
released his single "One Day Tonight" in May 2022 under the label 19 Records and
BBR Music Group.
