NO NAME was a Japanese pop music group formed in May 2012, produced by Yasushi
Akimoto. The group consisted of nine idols from AKB48 and its sister groups
SKE48 and NMB48. NO NAME was specifically created to perform the theme songs for
the anime series AKB0048, with each member voicing a character in the show.
Their debut single, "Kibō ni Tsuite", was released on August 1, 2012, under the
Star Child label of King Records and peaked at number 3 on the Oricon charts.
