Nikos Papazoglou, born on March 20, 1948, in Kormista, Serres, Greece, was a
singer-songwriter, producer, and musician. He began his career performing with
local Greek groups in the 1960s and moved to Aachen, Germany, with the group
Zilotis in 1972, recording six songs in Milan before returning to Greece.
Papazoglou's breakthrough came in 1978 with Ekdikisi Tis Gyftias, a critically
acclaimed work based on Aristophanes' comedy The Acharnians. He continued his
