Nicolas Quemener
Nicolas Quemener, born in August 1964 in Beaufort‑en‑Vallée, France, is a French
musician and guitarist in the Celtic music scene, playing in open tunings. After
studying percussion at the Conservatoire National de Musique d’Angers between
the ages of 13 and 16, he received his guitar at 18 and spent from 1989 to 1992
in Ireland, where he met musicians who would form the group Arcady. In 1990,
Arcady toured the United States and Europe, and in 1994 Nicolas joined Orion. He
became a member of L’Héritage des Celtes in 1995, and the 1997 album Bimis ag ol
