Nicola Conte, born 1962 in Bari, Apulia, Italy, is an Italian jazz DJ, composer, producer, guitarist, remixer, and sampler whose classical training underpinned a career that fused acid jazz with bossa nova, Italian film scores, easy listening, and Indian motifs. He first attracted attention with the 2000 album Jet Sounds, whose title track "Bossa per Due" became an underground hit and later featured in commercials for Acura and Joe Boxer.
