Neurosis
Neurosis is a cerebral metal band with roots in heavy metal, dark ambient and
industrial. The band from Oakland, California, are known for their concept of
using projections and visual elements in their live shows, inspired by Hawkwind,
one of their models. The band's evolution has been gradual since its formation
in 1985, with Neurosis initially focusing on punk metal. The breakthrough came
with Enemy of the Sun in 1993, when the Neurosis formula found its distinctive
