The reggaeton duo Ñejo & Dálmata was formed in Ponce, Puerto Rico, in 2000. Comprised of Carlos Daniel "Ñejo" Crespo Planas and Fernando "Dálmata" Mangual Vázquez, the group made a name for themselves through a series of collaborative efforts before making a splash on the Latin urban music scene with their 2007 studio debut Broke & Famous, which hit Number 8 on Billboard's Latin Rhythms Albums Chart.
