Negritude Júnior is a Brazilian pagode group from Carapicuíba, São Paulo, formed
in 1986. After winning a prominent samba school contest, they debuted with the
album Jeito de seduzir (1992). Their mainstream breakthrough continued with
Natural (1993), featuring the hit "Conto de fadas," and subsequent successful
releases such as Deixa acontecer (1994) and Gente da gente (1995), which
produced the hits "Olhos vermelhos" and "Absoluta." The group explored romantic
themes on Nosso ninho (1996), notable for the song "Tanajura." In 2001, Netinho
