Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ned Doheny was born in Malibu, California on March 26, 1948. While he has recorded several solo albums, he is better known as a songwriter and his work with high profile artists such as Don Henley, Glenn Frey, J.D. Souther, Jackson Browne, and Linda Ronstadt. Ned Doheny formed a short-lived trio with ‘Mama’ Cass Elliott and former Traffic member Dave Mason. While the trio wasn’t a big success, Dave Mason covered Ned Doheny’s song “On and On” in 1971. The first artist signed to David Geffen's Asylum label, he released his self-titled album in 1973...
