Nasreen Qadri, known professionally as Nasrin Kadri, was born on September 2,
1986, in Lod, Israel. She is an Arab-Israeli singer of Muslim descent who later
converted to Judaism. Kadri began her musical journey by performing in bars and
nightclubs at the age of 18, drawing from a repertoire that included Arabic pop
classics by Umm Kulthum and Nancy Ajram. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she
won the second season of Eyal Golan kore l’kha, a casting show on Music 24.
