Napoli Centrale, an Italian jazz-rock group, was founded in Naples in 1974 by
musicians James Senese and Franco Del Prete. Following the disbandment of their
previous R&B band The Showmen, they sought a different musical direction. Their
debut album Napoli Centrale and its single "Campagna" achieved immediate
commercial and critical success. Shortly after, bassist Tony Walmsley and
keyboardist Mark Harris left to join Il Rovescio della Medaglia, marking the
