Nano Stern
Fernando Daniel Stern Britzmann, known as Nano Stern, was born on March 30,
1985, in Santiago, Chile. He is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist,
poet, and composer. He began his musical journey at age three with violin
lessons and collaborated with folk rock bands early in his career. At 19, Stern
moved to Europe and joined the Latin American fusion group Ortiga, deepening his
connection to Chilean popular song. In 2006, he released his self-titled debut
album Nano Stern, followed by Voy y vuelvo (2008), which earned a Premio Altazor
