Nakigoto is a Tokyo‑based J‑pop band formed in July 2018 by vocalist‑guitarist
Emiri Mizukami, formerly known as “Emily‑N Go,” and guitarist‑chorist Ami Okada
after the dissolution of their previous group. The pair named the new project
after a home‑recorded acoustic album title that reflected Emiri Mizukami’s
feelings when the former members departed. Their breakthrough came with the 2019
nationwide single "nakigao" released through murffin Lab., followed by a split
