Myrath
A progressive metal band with an international reputation, Myrath is unique in
being made up of Tunisian musicians. Formed in 2001 by guitarist Malek Ben
Arbia, the band's lead singer was Tarek Idouani, and it called itself X-Tazy,
before welcoming keyboardist and singer Elyes Bouchoucha in 2003, who will
remain with the band until 2020. In 2005, the Double Face EP was confidentially
distributed in Tunisia, attracting the attention of French label Bremmis Music.
The band, renamed Myrath, worked with producer Kevin Codfert to record their
debut album Hope (2007), before recruiting...
