Muro is a Spanish heavy metal band formed in 1981 in Madrid's Vallecas district.
They solidified their lineup in 1985 with vocalist Silverio Solórzano "Sílver,"
guitarist José Manuel Navarro "Largo," bassist Julio Rico "Julito," and drummer
Juan Ramón Ruiz "Lapi." Their debut album Acero y Sangre (1987), recorded live
in December 1986, introduced speed metal to Spain. The band gained national
prominence, performing at major festivals and supporting international acts like
