Murat Kekilli, born April 18, 1968, is a Turkish rock singer from Adana. After
completing his education in Adana and working in watermelon fields during his
youth, he developed an interest in music and began his professional career
following military service in 1991. He briefly studied at the Adana State
Conservatory before moving to Istanbul, where he performed with the groups
Kilikyalılar and Yolcular, releasing the album Eşek Gözlüm in 1996 with
