Mu
Mutsumi Kanamori, known professionally as Mu, is a British electronic musician
from Sheffield, England. The artist's work with producer Maurice Fulton
contributed to the electropunk scene. Kanamori’s debut album, Afro Finger and
Gel (2003), received critical acclaim and was given the “Best New Award” by
Pitchfork Media. The follow-up album, Out of Breach (Manchester's Revenge)
(2005), featured the minor hit “Paris Hilton”. In 2010, the musician announced a
name change to Mutsumi, subsequently releasing a self-titled album, Mu,
