Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, born Đàm Vĩnh Hưng on October 2, 1971, in Quảng Nam, Vietnam, is
a Vietnamese singer. Before his music career, he worked as a hairdresser. His
breakthrough came when he won The Most Excellent Singer prize from Ben Thanh
Theater's Young Audience Music Club in 2001. This led to the release of his
debut album Tình Oi Xin Ngủ Yên (Please Sleep Tight My Love). Throughout his
career, Đàm Vĩnh Hưng has released numerous albums including Hưng (2004) and Mr.
