McKenzie Ashton Ellis, born March 12 1995 in Oklahoma City, United States, is an
American singer and songwriter who performs under the name Mothica. She began
producing music at 18, learning Ableton and releasing the EP Mythic in 2015,
which included the track "No One" that reached Number 6 on the U.S. Viral
Spotify Charts. Her first single "Starchild" amassed 100,000 streams on
SoundCloud within 24 hours. In 2020 she released the album Blue Hour, followed
by Forever Fifteen in 2021, and her second studio album Nocturnal in 2022; the
