Mortician
Mortician is an American death metal ensemble from Yonkers established in 1989.
They achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by
deathgrind and for gore-themed lyrics featuring samples from slasher films. The
ensemble was founded by the vocalist and bassist Will Rahmer and the drummer
Matt Sicher. Their recording career began with the debut demo recording
Rehearsal 12/14/89 (1989) and the debut eponymous single "Mortician" (1990).
