Morfin
Morfin is a US death metal band from Pico Rivera, California, formed in 2010 by
singer/guitarist Jesus Romero (also known as Chucho Mairen) and drummer Miguel
Hernandez. Bassist Michael Gonzalez and guitarist Pedro Gonzales joined later,
completing the lineup. Their first release was the demo Crystal Darkness in
2011. Because of the success of another local band, Skeletal Remains, Morfin
contacted the label FDA Rekotz and subsequently signed with them. In 2014, they
