Moonshine Bandits
Moonshine Bandits, a country rap duo comprising Dusty “Tex” Dahlgren and Brett
“Bird” Brooks, formed in Los Banos, California in 2003. Their album Soggy
Crackerz was released in 2003. In 2006, they followed with Prohibition, and in
2010 issued Divebars and Truckstops. A 2011 partnership with Suburban Noize
Records yielded Whiskey and Women, featuring the single "My Kind of Country".
2014’s Calicountry debuted at number 22 on the Billboard Top Country Albums
chart, while 2015’s Blacked Out entered the Top Rap Albums at number 10.
