Moonlight Benjamin
Born in 1971 in Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Moonlight Benjamin, real name Marie
Benjamin, is a Haitian singer. She moved to France in 2002 to study music. She
formed the group Dyaoulé Pemba with Jean Pascal Marrou, Loïc Farge and Mathieu
Royer, who released the album Moonlight Chante Haïti in 2007. She was the
discovery of the Printemps de Bourges festival in 2008. In 2011, she released
her first solo album, Mouvman , featuring the song " Le Mal du pays ". In
