Monarchy
Monarchy, a British electronic music duo consisting of Andrew Armstrong and Ra
Black, was formed in London in 2009. Initially known as Milke, they gained early
recognition when The Guardian named them "Group of the Day" in November 2009.
Their debut single "Gold in the Fire" was released by Neon Gold Records in
February 2010. Monarchy's first live performance was broadcast to space from
Cape Canaveral in June 2010, making them the first band to perform live in
space. They signed with Mercury Records in early 2010 but left later that year.
