Mollie O'Brien, born October 25, 1952, in Wheeling, West Virginia, is an
American singer known for her work in bluegrass, R&B, and folk music. She began
singing at a young age and learned to play piano by eleven. O'Brien's early
career included studying voice and theater in college. In 1981, she met
guitarist Rich Moore and formed the R&B band, The Late Show. Her breakthrough
came with her brother Tim O'Brien, a Grammy-winning artist, as they released
