Modest Mouse
One of the bands that helped bring indie rock into the mainstream during the
1990s and 2000s, Modest Mouse emerged from Issaquah, Washington, in 1993, taking
their name from a line in Virginia Woolf’s short story “The Mark on the Wall.”
Founded by singer, lyricist, and guitarist Isaac Brock with drummer Jeremiah
Green and bassist Eric Judy, they released their debut EP, Blue Cadet-3, Do You
