Mo Kenney
Morgan Kenney, known professionally as Mo Kenney, is a Canadian
singer-songwriter born in 1990 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kenney began playing
guitar at age 11 and started writing songs earnestly after being grounded by
their parents at 16. Their breakthrough came when noted Canadian rocker Joel
Plaskett discovered them while visiting a recording studio at the Shambhala
School in Halifax. Kenney released the self-titled debut album Mo Kenney (2012),
